Chevron (CVX), General Electric (GE), Priceline.com (PCLN), Target (TGT) All Jump

While stock performances remained mixed, some companies like Chevron (NYSE:CVX), General Electric (NYSE:GE), Priceline.com (NASDAQ:PCLN) and Target (NYSE:TGT) are moving up today.

Especially strong are Target and Priceline.com, which are both moving up on strong quarterly results.

Target generated an increase of 10.5 percnet in profits for the latest quarter, reaching $1.45 a share.

Priceline enjoyed a resurgence in international bookings, and also added strong guidance, resulting in a minimum of severn brokerages raising the price target on the company.

Priceline was trading at $457.04, gaining $31.05, or 7.29 percent, as of 11:57 AM EST. Target was at $51.71, up $1.45, or 2.88 percent.

Chevron continues to be the beneficiary of rising oil prices, along with many others in the energy sector.
