Honda Motor Co. (NYSE:HMC), Subaru, Toyota Motor Corp. (NYSE:TM), Volvo and Ford (F) were the top five auto companies ranked for new cars offered, according to Consumer Reports.
Interestingly, both Toyota and Ford were able to keep their high ratings even though they've had enormous quality issues which have resulted in millions of vehicles being recalled.
General Motors (NYSE:GM) and Chrysler were laggards, finishing only twelfth and thirteenth among new vehicles offered.
Results were measured by factors such as fuel economy, on-road performance and reliability.
The top-rated car was the Fit subcompact from Honda, which was labeled the best value and budget car by the consumer magazine.
Ford's Mustang and Kia Motor Co.'s Sorento were among the top six best picks for new models.
The Volvo s60 won it for Volvo. No surprise there, the car is excellent.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the s60 is crazy hot.0-60 in like 5.7
