Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ), McDonald’s (NYSE: MCD), Bally Technologies Inc. (NYSE: BYI), Tyco International Ltd (NYSE: TYC), WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE: WMS) and Acadia Realty Trust (NYSE: AKR) upgraded by analysts.



McDonald’s (MCD) was upgraded by Oppenheimer from a “Perform” rating to an “Outperform” rating. They have a price target of $100.00 on the company.



Canadian Solar Inc. (CSIQ) was upgraded by Piper Jaffray (NYSE:PJC) from an “Underweight” rating to a “Neutral” rating.



Bally Technologies Inc. (BYI) was upgraded by Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) from a “Sell” rating to a “Neutral” rating.



Tyco International Ltd (TYC) was upgraded by Sanford C. Bernstein from a “Market Perform” rating to an “Outperform” rating.



WMS Industries Inc. (WMS) was upgraded by Goldman Sachs from a “Sell” rating to a “Neutral” rating.



Acadia Realty Trust (AKR) was upgraded by Keybanc from a “Hold” rating to a “Buy” rating. They have a price target of $23.00 on the company.

Petrohawk Energy (NYSE: HK), First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR), Dolby Labs (NYSE: DLB), DirecTV (NYSE: DTV), Apollo Investment Corp. (NASDAQ: AINV) and WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE: WMS) downgraded by analysts.

Dolby Labs (DLB) was downgraded by Avondale Partners from an “Outperform” rating to a “Market Perform” rating. They have a price target $40.00 on the company, down from $60.00.

DirecTV (DTV) was downgraded by Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) from a “Buy” rating to a “Neutral” rating.

Apollo Investment Corp. (AINV) was downgraded by JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) from an “Overweight” rating to a “Neutral” rating.

Visa (V) (KMP) (LL) (MUSA) (WMS) Have Price Targets Adjusted by Analysts

Visa (NYSE: V), Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP (NYSE: KMP), Lumber Liquidators (NYSE: LL), Metals USA Holdings Corp (NASDAQ: MUSA) and WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE: WMS) have price targets changed by analysts.

Morgan Keegan raised their price target on Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP (KMP) to $79.00.

Piper Jaffray (NYSE:PJC) cut their price target on Lumber Liquidators (LL) to $20.00.

Jefferies (NYSE:JEF) cut their price target on Metals USA Holdings Corp (MUSA) to $20.00.

Argus raised their price target on Visa Inc. (V) from $95.00 to $100.00. They have a “buy” rating on the company.

Jefferies cut their price target on WMS Industries Inc. (WMS) to $32.00. They have a “hold” rating on the company.

WMS Industries (NYSE:WMS) PT Cut by Goldman (NYSE:GS) on Competitive Pressures

Stiff competition for WMS Industries (NYSE:WMS) resulted in Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) cutting their price target on the gaming machine maker.

It appears WMS is moving market share, along with decreasing margins and a shrinking R&D budget.

WMS makes gaming machines in the casino sector for companies around the world, including lottery terminals.

Goldman maintains their "Neutral" rating on WMS, which was trading at $42.10, down $3.01, or 6.66 percent, as of 1:52 PM EST. Goldman lowered their price target on WMS from $46 to $40.

WMS Industries (NYSE:WMS) Margins to Increase Says Morgan Joseph

Saying they see WMS Industries (NYSE:WMS) increasing margin going forward, Morgan Joseph boosted their price target on the company.

Commenting on the increase of the price target, Morgan Joseph said it is "prudent to value the stock off FY12 earnings now given the margin expansion potential that we envision next fiscal year, the likely pick-up in replacements, and growth potential on the international front."

They also released their EPS estimate for 2012 on WMS, which they placed at $2.51.

Morgan Joseph reiterates their "Buy" rating on WMS Industries, which closed Wednesday at $44.13, down $0.77, or 1.71 percent. They raised their price target on them from $49 to $55.
