Ratings on (STN) (AVEO) (LLNW) (ANN) (EPM) (VTR) Upgraded

Ratings on Stantec (NYSE:STN), AVEO Pharma (NASDAQ:AVEO), Limelight Networks (NASDAQ:LLNW), AnnTaylor (NYSE:ANN), Evolution Petroleum (AMEX:EPM) and Ventas (NYSE:VTR) were upgraded by analysts.

DA Davidson upgraded Stantec (STN) from a "Neutral" rating to a "Buy" rating.

MP Advisors upgraded AVEO Pharma (AVEO) from an "Underperform" rating to a "Market Perform" rating. They raised their price target on the company from $11 to $20.

Canaccord Genuity upgraded NetApp (NTAP) from a "Hold" rating to a "Buy" rating. They raised their price target on the company from $58.50 to $62.

Dougherty & Company upgraded Limelight Networks (LLNW) from a "Sell" to "Neutral." They have a price target of $5.50 on the company.

Wedbush upgraded AnnTaylor (ANN) from a "Neutral" rating to and "Outperform" rating. They increased their price from $27 to $38 on the company.

Global Hunter Securities upgraded Evolution Petroleum (EPM) from a "Neutral" rating to a "Buy" rating. They their price target from $8.50 to $12.50 on the company.

Robert W. Baird upgraded Ventas (VTR) from an "Underperform" rating to a "Neutral" rating. They raised their price target from $48 to $50 on the company.

Biggest Losers (JLL) (VTR) (HME) (IPCC) (ARAY) on May 6

Among the big, negative movers on Friday, May 6, were Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL), Ventas (VTR), Home Properties (HME), Infinity Property (IPCC) and Accuray Incorporated (ARAY).

Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) was down $0.94, to close at $98.69, a loss of 0.94 percent.

Ventas (VTR) fell $0.94 on the day to close at $54.54, a loss of 1.69 percent.

Home Properties (HME) dropped $0.94 to close at $61.14, a loss of 1.51 percent.

Infinity Property (IPCC) declined $0.92 to close the session at $53.47, a loss of 1.69 percent.

Accuray Incorporated (ARAY) plunged $0.92 to end the day at $7.98, a loss of 10.34 percent.

Health Care REIT (NYSE:HCN) Misses on Earnings

Health Care REIT (NYSE:HCN) missed in its quarterly earnings by 3 cents a share, generating 70 cents a diluted share, down from 75 cents a diluted share. Analysts had been looking for 73 cents a share.

Revenue came in at $255 million for the quarter.

“Health Care REIT remains on target to deliver strong 2011 earnings growth of 8-11%,” commented George L. Chapman, Health Care REIT’s Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President. “We recently closed the Genesis HealthCare and Benchmark Senior Living transactions on or ahead of schedule. These closings allowed us to recently raise our 2011 FFO guidance by seven cents as these transactions will be immediately accretive to earnings. The $7 billion of new partnerships formed in 2010 and 2011-to-date demonstrates the successful execution of our relationship investment strategy and positions the company for a strong period of earnings and dividend growth over the next several years,” said Health Care leadership.
