Biggest Winners (FMC) (LO) (ASH) (HLF) (APA) on May 6

Among the winners on Friday, May 6, as measured by share price increases, were FMC Corp. (FMC), Lorillard Inc (LO), Ashland Inc. (ASH), Herbalife Ltd (HLF) and Apache Corp. (APA).

FMC Corp. (FMC) was up $1.40, to close at $84.71, a gain of 1.68 percent.

Lorillard Inc (LO) jumped $1.38 on the day to close at $108.62, an increase of 1.29 percent.

Ashland Inc. (ASH) rose $1.38 to close at $62.13, a boost of 2.27 percent.

Herbalife Ltd (HLF) soared $1.37 to close the session at $104.84, a gain of 1.32 percent.

Apache Corp. (APA) surged $1.37 to end the day at $124.21, climbing 1.12 percent.

All-Time Highs for (HANS) (HE) (HLF) (HNZ) (HS) Reached May 6

Hansen Natural Corp. (NASDAQ:HANS), Hawaiian Electric (NYSE:HE), Herbalife Ltd (NYSE:HLF), H.J. Heinz Company (NYSE:HNZ) and Healthspring (NYSE:HS) all breached all-time highs on Friday, May 6.

Hansen Natural Corp. (HANS) closed at $64.74, gaining $2.80, or 4.52 percent. They traded as high as $68.58 on the day.

Hawaiian Electric (HE) closed Friday at $26.00, rising $0.37, or 1.44 percent. They traded as high as $26.19 on the day.

Herbalife Ltd (HLF) closed Friday at $104.84, climbing $1.37, or 1.32 percent. They traded as high as $105.48 on the day.

H.J. Heinz Company (HNZ) closed at $51.18, up $0.03, or 0.06 percent. They traded as high as $51.93 on the day.

Healthspring (HS) closed at $43.16, gaining $1.07, or 2.54 percent. They traded as high as $44.47 on the day.

Cabot Oil & Gas (COG), Herbalife (HLF), Endologix (ELGX) Chico’s (CHS) All Move Up Big

Cabot Oil & Gas (COG), Herbalife (HLF), Endologix (ELGX) Chico’s (CHS) were among the biggest market movers today, as far as in positive territory, all on beating earnings estimates or upgrading estimates.

Cabot Oil & Gas jumped the most in the S&P 500, rising 12 percent to $44.71. The natural gas producer reported fourth-quarter sales of $216.9 million, beating the average analyst estimate of $212.4 million. Raymond James also upgraded the stock from “underperform" to “market perform.”

Endologix climbed the most in the Russell 2000 Index, soaring 22 percent to $6.69. The maker of medical devices said that it had net income of 15 cents a share in the fourth quarter. That was far above the estimated loss of 1 cent a share analysts were looking for.

Chico’s increased 9 percent to $13.14 after climbing as high as $13.30 earlier. FBR Capital Markets said the women’s clothing retailer expects to earn more than $1 a share this year, above FBR’s estimate of 86 cents.

Herbalife was up 6 percent, climbing to $74.02 after rising to $76.27 earlier. The seller of nutritional and weight-loss supplements projected a first-quarter profit of a minimum of $1.17 a share, above the average analyst estimate of $1.10.
