Mattel Inc. (NYSE:MAT) beat analyst expectation in their latest quarter, driven by strong sale in their core brands American Girl and Barbie.
The company generated sales of $2.12 billion, or 89 cents a share.
Analysts had been expecting revenue of $2.09 billion, or 86 cents a share.
Mattel was trading at $24.53, gaining $0.39, or 1.59 percent, as of 1:30 PM EST.
