With the advent of Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) next generation iPhone 5 not too far away, speculation as to its probable features were made by Ticonderoga Securities analyst Brian White.
Among those revealed in his report were the ATSC-M/H which “could increasingly become available in high-end smartphones in the future, and we believe the next generation iPhone 5 represents an attractive candidate for this feature.”
Also considered a strong possibility is the adaptation of the iPhone 5 as an Advanced Television System platform. He contrasted that with the largely dead Flo TV from Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM).
Finally, White thinks it could be an early adopter for a pico projector. What that does is empower the user to project a presentation on a big, flat surface.
He added that these could also be something that could enhance the iPad too. White sees about 5.95 million iPads selling in the second quarter.
